In addition to being a filmmaker, Brenna Perez has become a political content creator and “investigative advocate.” Sometimes comedic, sometimes serious, she’s just out here trying to figure it out as she goes along.

FILM WORK

A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Brenna works as a director and producer for commercials, music videos, and narrative films. Originally from Madrid, Spain, she now splits most of her time between New York and LA, occasionally returning to Europe to direct projects closer to home.

Her feature film script GIRLS IN TROUBLE was a Slamdance Screenplay 2019 finalist and took third place in the Narrative Feature category.

In addition to her ongoing commercial jobs, she is currently in post for her first feature film, THE THINGS WE LEAVE BEHIND, a grounded sci-fi dark comedy, which she wrote, directed, and acted in.
